Saturday, February 15, 2020

  • 9:30am: Check-in/Registration/”Day of” Packet Pick Up Opens- 23rd & Mechanic St.
  • 10:45am: Stretch/Warm up!
  • 10:55am: Runners line up at the Start- 24th & Mechanic St.
  • 11am: 5K RACE TIME

Start/Finish & Route:

The Jolly Jester Jaunt 5K will start in the heart of Mardi Gras! Galveston’s Entertainment district under the famous Mardi Gras! Arch on 24th & Mechanic. Runners/walkers will “jaunt” 4 loops around the inside of the Entertainment District for an unforgettable 5K experience!

15+ participants

Get a great deal and some awesome perks when you enter as a group of 15 or more! Gather your families, friends, peers, neighbors, classmates, sororities/fraternities, church members, etc. to enjoy a full day of fun that kicks off with the Jolly Jester Jaunt 5k, carries you into the festivities of Mardi Gras! Galveston!, leads you up into one of our coveted balconies for a bird’s eye view of the parades, and maybe even into a parade yourself (see below)! Use group costumes to promote your business, celebrate a birthday, etc.. Get creative and have a blast! No run has more fun!
