Rules, Regulations, & Guidelines:

• NEW FOR 2024! All parade material will be EMAILED to the primary contact person on the registration form prior to the event, by Friday, January 19, 2024.
• 1st email via rjohnston@yagasevents.com will contain:
  • 1 judging number to be printed and clearly displayed on cart
  • Day of information and schedule
• 2nd email via ETIX will contain:
  • 4 General Admission tickets that will allow entrance into the Downtown Entertainment District on Saturday, February 3, 2024. Please check spam folder if you have not received tickets by Friday, January 19. No tickets will be distributed day-of.

• 4 and 6-seater Golf Carts are allowed.
• The most decorated Golf Cart will receive 4 balcony tickets for Saturday, February 3.
• Each entry will be judged based on the Zaniest, most decorated, most spirited, crew and cart. The winning cart will be notified of their success as the parade makes its second loop of the district. The winner will be publicly announced on the Zaniest Golf Cart Parade Facebook page the Monday after the parade.
• The parade will enter the district and make two laps before exiting the same way.
• Golf Carts are NOT to return to Pier 21 after the parade
• Utility Vehicles will be allowed, however, cannot win the Best Decorated Golf Cart Award. All passengers must be properly seated. No passing of golf carts will be allowed. (ATV’s and Go-Carts will not be allowed)
• No trailers or floats allowed
• No glass, coolers, or weapons will be allowed
• ALL entries MUST be decorated
• Any signage displayed on Golf Cart must be approved by Yaga’s Entertainment and may not conflict with official Mardi Gras! Galveston sponsors
• Check-in with Parade Coordinators one hour prior to scheduled parade start time, north of Wharf Road (Behind Willie G’s) between 20^th and 21^st St.  The parade will begin at 2 pm. Be ready to roll at 1:30 pm. 
• The parade will enter the district and make two laps before exiting the same way.
• PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED!! There will NOT be day-of registration. All golf carts must be pre-registered to participate in the parade. 
• Unforeseen circumstances beyond Yaga’s Entertainment, Inc. control will not be grounds for a refund, including but not limited to the following: local or national weather conditions and natural disasters, waiting in lines, family and medical emergencies.
