In honor of the 114^th celebration of Mardi Gras! Galveston, Yaga’s Entertainment, Inc. would like to invite students and artists from Galveston Island and the surrounding areas to submit an official Mardi Gras! Galveston poster design.  The winning poster will be reproduced as a commemorative poster to be released as part of Mardi Gras! Galveston 2025. The winning poster will also be featured in the Bryan Museum’s Temporary Mardi Gras Exhibit. The artist with the winning poster will receive a $1000 award! During the festival, limited edition prints will be available to purchase at Surf Styles, 2119 Strand. Check out our Wall of Fame!

Returning for the second year, organizers are giving a few lucky parade goers a chance to win some extraordinary prizes. Exclusive Golden Mardi Gras beads will be thrown out during a few select parades. Parades with the Golden Bead will be announced soon!

Prizes include a cruise out of Galveston from GalvestonCruises.com, 2 roundtrip tickets to Mexico from AeroMexico, 2 VIP Galveston Island Wine Festival tickets, and 6 Galveston Island Passes ($1200 Value)! To participate, you must attend the parades in the Downtown Historic District and look out for the golden bead!

Galveston. Get the chance to ride on a float, attend a Family Gras! balcony party AND be featured in the Galveston Daily News! The Family Gras! Coloring Contest will announce THREE winners from three different age groups. Don’t miss out on this awesome opportunity to get your kiddos coloring abilities shown to the world!

Galveston and the 14th Annual Funky Uptown Umbrella Brigade, Yaga’s Entertainment, Inc. would like to invite you to participate in the Official Umbrella Decorating Contest of Mardi Gras! Galveston. Artists from Galveston, surrounding areas, past Galveston residents, and lovers of the island are invited to submit their work.

Artist Eligibility: Any United States Citizen over the age of 18 years old

WINNER will lead 2025’s Funky Uptown Umbrella Brigade and be featured in the Bryan Museum’s Mardi Gras Unmasked Exhibit!
